Heart disease is the biggest killer in the Western World and it really doesn’t have to be this way with the right nutrition & lifestyle regime Heart Disease can be reduced significantly.

Cardio Fuel gives the heart the energy substrates it needs to produce its enormous energy requirements and help prevent heart disease.

Cardio Fuel also helps significantly with FAT LOSS as the ingredients help the cells burn FAT.

Cardio Fuel contains ingredients that nourishes the heart and the endothelium which lines the 60,000 miles of blood vessels which deliver blood to your trillions of cells.

Cardio Fuel is a synergistic blend of nutrients that help give the heart the energy substrates it needs to be able to function efficiently and help prevent heart disease.

Give Cardio Fuel a try as it not only Fuels the heart but it helps fuel every cell in your body.

If you give your cells the ability to make optimal levels of energy, they can use it to do whatever they want: build and renew cell membranes, create and maintain cell structures, and replicate and protect cell information.

Our immune function depends on adequate energy production, as does tissue maintenance such as bone building and muscle building. In fact it's impossible to think of any physiological function that is not linked in some way to our energy supply.

Recommended use:

One scoop with Breakfast or what your QUALIFIED health care provider recommends.

What’s in it for you?

Diseased hearts are energy-starved, which means they lack enough adenosine triphosphate (ATP) to fuel healthy cardiac function. ATP molecules are both synthesized and recycled within the body, and supply all of the body’s energy.

It’s all about ATP,  Hearts, skeletal muscles, and every other tissue in our bodies have an absolute requirement for adenosine triphosphate, or ATP, as their primary energy currency. Cardio Fuel is a synergistic blend of nutrients that help give the heart the energy substrates it needs to be able to function efficiently and help prevent heart disease.

The heart is a muscle and as enormous energy requirements you must keep it optimally nourished to function at maximum efficiency to help you live a healthy life. This mechanical stress is a particular challenge to the millions of cells which make up the heart.  These cells need an optimum supply of nutrients to ensure their proper functioning and the general health of the heart.

   Someone dies from a heart attack every six minutes in the UK – that’s 10 people every hour.

   In total, 146,000 people have a heart attack every year and 94,000 of them die in the UK.

   Over 1.4 million people in the UK over the age of 35 have had a heart attack.

   Heart disease & Heart Attacks can strike at any age it is no longer a disease of the aged.

   In total, all types of cardiovascular disease kill 200,000 people in the UK every year.

Heart Facts

   Your heart is a pump made of muscle which pushes blood through your arteries to all organs

   The average adult heart beats 72 times a minute; 100,000 times a day; 3,600,000 times a year;

   and 2.5 billion times during a lifetime.

   During an average lifetime, the heart will pump nearly 1.5 million gallons of blood—enough

   to fill 200 train tank cars.

   The heart pumps blood to almost all of the body’s 75 trillion cells.

The following symptoms indicate that the heart is starting to fail:

    Shortness of breath, especially when lying down;

    Tiredness, feeling run down;

    Persistent wheezing or cough (caused by fluid build-up in the lungs, or pulmonary

    congestion);

    Swollen ankles, feet and legs due to fluid build-up (edema);

    Increased heart rate;

    Nausea or lack of appetite;

    Confusion, inability to think clearly

Lets look at each ingredient now to see how it can help with Cardiovascular Health and FAT LOSS, but remember they all work TOGETHER.

The magic of CoQ10: As a nutrient essential to ATP production, coenzyme Q10, or CoQ10, is a VIP (very important particle) within your body. With the potential to help heal almost all cardiovascular conditions, it is one of the best nutrients you can feed your heart.

Heart muscle requires an incredible amount of CoQ10 to circulate oxygenated and nutrient-rich blood through your body. In fact, tissue levels of CoQ10 are usually ten times higher in the healthy heart than any other organ of the body, even the brain!

CoQ10 molecules perform a vital role in the production of the body’s basic cellular fuel, adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Depriving the heart of CoQ10 is like removing a spark plug from your engine -- it just won't work low levels of CoQ10 are implicated in virtually all cardiovascular diseases, including angina, hypertension, cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure.

This is the key reason CoQ10 is probably the single best nutrient you can take for your heart.

More than 35 controlled clinical trials in Japan, Europe and the U.S. have proven that CoQ10 therapy is highly effective in treatment of congestive heart failure, angina and ischemic heart disease, and myocardial infarction.

WARNING, TAKING STATINS?: Several studies show that dosing up on statins can deplete the body of CoQ10. Bearing in mind CoQ10′s starring role in the generation of energy in the body, it is perhaps no surprise that individuals taking statins in the long-term can find themselves suffering from weakness, fatigue and exhaustion.  If you are taking Statins you need to be taking CoQ10!

L-Carnitine is the gatekeeper for fat burning, it picks up fat and dumps it into the mitochondria for burning to create ATP.  The more Carnitine present the more fat burnt and has the heart is a fat hog this is essential for the heart to fire on all cylinders.

There is also the well-documented finding that L-Carnitine lowers triglycerides, and this alone dramatically lowers the risk of heart disease.

Lower plasma triglycerides means that blood is less thick with fats, and can move more easily even through the narrow capillaries. And since carnitine also raises HDL cholesterol, blood vessels stay cleaner, again improving blood flow.

Like coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), L-carnitine is also considered an antioxidant that protects your heart and blood vessels from oxidative stress that can lead to coronary heart disease.

As a vasodilator, L-carnitine opens blood vessels and increases blood flow to your heart, muscles and other tissues, resulting in better overall oxygen use by your body.

D-ribose is the new kid on the heart supplement block. As a building block of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), it rapidly restores depleted energy in sick hearts.

While coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) and L-carnitine both directly support ATP recycling, the most efficient means of cardiac energy metabolism, D-ribose helps ensure there’s enough original ATP synthesized for your mitochondria to recycle.

Some exciting studies have emerged showing how D-ribose affects active human heart tissue and its function. Investigators have shown how increased ATP levels translate into improved heart muscle function & better blood flow.

Magnesium is absolutely essential in the proper functioning of the heart. The beneficial effects of magnesium in preventing heart disease relate to its ability improve energy production within the heart; dilate the coronary arteries resulting in improved delivery of oxygen to the heart; reduce peripheral vascular resistance resulting in reduced demand on the heart; inhibit platelets from aggregating and forming blood clots; and improve heart rate.

Since all enzymatic reactions involving ATP have an absolute requirement for MAGNESIUM, it makes perfect sense to include magnesium to any program which wants to enhance heart function.

The extract of hawthorn can increase blood flow to the heart muscle itself, helping to counteract one of the most common modern causes of death in industrial countries--heart attack due to lack of blood flow to the heart.

In pharmacological tests on both animals and humans, hawthorn has been shown to improve the contractility of the heart muscle (which can lead to a stronger pumping action of the heart), increase cardiac performance and output, lower the peripheral vascular resistance (reducing the workload of the heart), steady the heartbeat (antiarrhythmic effect), as well as increasing the heart's tolerance to oxygen deficiency, such as might happen during stress or excitement, or in diseases where the arteries are partially blocked.

A four year study on the benefits of hawthorn, commissioned by the German Ministry of Health, found that it improves contractions in the veins and heart while dilating the heart. This increases blood flow in the heart as well as flow speed throughout the body for increased circulation to organs and musculature. The researchers concluded that hawthorn is best used for low heart function, congestion, arrhythmia and tightness in the chest and no side effects were noted (Hoffmann 1995).

Taurine: In the cell, taurine keeps potassium and magnesium inside the cell while keeping excessive sodium out. In this sense it works like a diuretic. Low taurine levels can reduce the strength of heart muscle contraction and cardiac output. Sustained deficiency can increase your risk of cardiomyopathy. Cardiomyopathy is the name applied to an abnormality of heart muscle function.

There have been studies showing the positive effectiveness of taurine on heart failure. Aside from having diuretic properties, taurine is able to strengthen the heart muscles and maintain proper calcium balance. Together with Coq10 and carnitine, taurine is able to regulate the heart’s contractility.

Taurine also inhibits the action of angiotensin II, the hormone that increases blood vessel constriction. Increased taurine concentration allows blood vessels to expand which further reduces your blood pressure and your risk of strokes and coronary heart disease.

L-Citrulline is an amino acid that turns into L-Arginine in the body and evidence from Dr. Nathan Bryan and other scientists shows that L-Arginine made from L-Citrulline is much more effective in raising Nitric Oxide (NO) levels than taking L-Arginine directly.

That’s because the L-Arginine made from L-Citrulline is directed toward the Nitric Oxide making pathway-whereas when you take an L-Arginine supplement, there are eight different metabolic pathways the amino acid can wander down, with only about 3% of the L-Arginine used for Nitric Oxide production.  To summarize by providing L-Citrulline the supplement allows the body to more effectively use L-Arginine to produce Nitric Oxide.

In 1998, the Nobel Prize was awarded to three Americans  (Robert Furchgott, Ferid Murad and Louis Ignarro) for their work in the discovery of Nitric Oxide as a key messenger in the cardiovascular system.

Nitric oxide released by the endothelium works to prevent red blood cells from sticking together, or aggregating, and attaching to the vessel wall. It can also work to control vascular tone, allowing the arteries to relax and stay clear. Nitric oxide is your body’s most powerful vasodilator. This means that it relaxes the smooth muscle of your vascular wall to properly control your blood pressure.

Clinical trials in universities in California have established the effective amount of L-citrulline at 1,000 mg per serving. These studies showed that L-citrulline is critical in the production of Nitric Oxide because it acts like a catalyst when combined with L-arginine and extends the body’s production of Nitric Oxide to over twenty hours.  Compared to just 30 min – 2 hours with just using L-Arginine.

Vitamin K2: A clinical study from Rotterdam, Holland revealed a correlation between long term adequate Vitamin K2 intake and a lower incidence of calcification of the wall of the aorta.

Arteries with no plaques have a 20 to 50 fold increase in Vitamin K2 concentration when compared to arteries with arterial plaques. The high K2 content arteries were noted to be more flexible and elastic than arteries lacking K2.

Lack of Vitamin K2 causes calcium to fail to be deposited in bones where it belongs and to be deposited instead in arteries, aorta, soft tissues including muscle, breast, kidneys and in heel spurs.

Vitamin K2 is a critical nutrient for patients with arteriosclerosis as it has the potential to prevent and remove calcium from arteriosclerotic plaques thus making plaques easier to dissolve and less dangerous.

A large epidemiological study from the Netherlands illustrates this point well. The researchers collected data on the vitamin K intakes of the subjects between 1990 and 1993 and measured the extent of heart disease in each subject, who had died from it and how this related to vitamin K2 intake and arterial calcification.

They found that calcification of the arteries was the best predictor of heart disease. Those in the highest third of vitamin K2 intakes were 52 percent less likely to develop severe calcification of the arteries, 41 percent less likely to develop heart disease, and 57 percent less likely to die from it. (Geleijnse et al., 2004, pp. 3100-3105) However, intake of vitamin K1 had no effect on cardiovascular disease outcomes.

It was once erroneously believed that intestinal bacteria are a major contributor to vitamin K status. However, the majority of evidence contradicts this view. Most of the vitamin K2 produced in the intestine are embedded within bacterial membranes and not available for absorption.
