Omega 3 fish oil and more precisely the part called DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is the building material for synaptic communication centres in brain. You can not create more synapses, dendrites, or receptors that increase brains potential without a robust supply of DHA. Fish oils are also proven to reduce insulin resistance and have a direct bearing on glucose utilization, including the ability of muscles to use and store glucose.

Recommended use:

Take one capsule daily with or after every meal, or as professionally advised.

Ultimate fish oil by Phil Richards contains:

EPA & DHA - (docosahexaenoic acid) is the building material for synaptic communication centres. You can’t create more synapses, dendrites, or receptors that increase your brain’s potential without a robust supply of EPA & DHA. Like a growing tree, any time a nerve cell makes a new branch it requires new raw materials.  Without adequate EPA & DHA available branching out cannot happen. If brain fats are not available in needed amounts you will not grow new dendrites and axons and have a very hard time learning new material.

Gamma linolenic acid (GLA) is found in plant sources like evening primrose and borage oil. Its functions and benefits are very similar to DHA and EPA. Like DHA, GLA maintains the permeability and flexibility of cell membranes, creating cells that can obtain the needed nutrients for proper functioning.

It also increases the body's natural anti-inflammatories (eicosanoids). This causes a greater release of growth hormone. It can also help regulate blood circulation.  GLA improves cell sensitivity to insulin, reducing our chance of developing diabetes, heart disease and excess body fat. This is why I added GLA to my Ultimate Fish Oils, so that it works synergistically with EPA & DHA to help dampen down inflammation within our bodies.

Vitamins A & D work synergistically, e.g. vitamin A is necessary for both vitamin D binding and release at receptor sites. Vitamin A is important for eye and skin health. Vitamin D has been found to have numerous benefits including; bone health, skin health, immune function and many others.

An important aspect of vitamin E's role as an antioxidant is the fact that it's fat-soluble (unlike e.g. vitamin C, which is water-soluble). Consequently, vitamin E is exceedingly valuable in protecting cell membranes (which are fatty in composition) from oxidative damage caused by free radicals. By helping to keep the membranes healthy, it helps keep the entire cell healthy as well.  All of the tissues in the body contain lipids (fats and other fatty compounds), but the brain is especially rich in these vital substances, which are highly susceptible to oxidative damage from free radicals. The brain therefore requires a great deal of antioxidant protection - all the more so because it consumes a disproportionate amount of the body's oxygen supply, making it that much more vulnerable to oxidative damage. Not surprisingly, recent research suggests that increased intake of vitamin E helps preserve brain function and protect against neuronal (nerve-cell) degeneration. In essence, a healthy intake of vitamin E can prevent or slow the rate of cognitive decline as the brain ages.

Coenzyme Q10 is a compound present in mitochondria of every cell in the body.  When mitochondria produce energy in the form of ATP, they also release free radicals that can damage sensitive tissues of the brain. Preserving these valuable cells in the brain with coQ10 supplementation can help support memory. CoQ10 is the major antioxidant of the mitochondria and it reduces oxidative stress on the neurons and tissues in the brain.

Heart muscle requires an incredible amount of CoQ10 to circulate oxygenated and nutrient-rich blood through your body which will help increase brain function. In a healthy heart there is 10 times more CoQ10 than in any other organ.

Arteries with no plaques have a 20 to 50 fold increase in Vitamin K2 concentration when compared to arteries with arterial plaques. The high K2 content arteries were noted to be more flexible and elastic than arteries lacking K2. Lack of Vitamin K2 causes calcium to fail to be deposited in bones where it belongs and to be deposited instead in arteries, aorta, soft tissues including muscle, breast, kidneys and in heel spurs.

A protein called osteocalcin transports calcium to bone. Vitamin K2(menaquinone-7) is used to solidify this calcium into the bone matrix. When Vitamin K2 is lacking the calcium remains in the blood and ends up getting deposited in the walls of arteries and other sites which is very  undesirable.

Vitamin K2 is a critical nutrient for patients with arteriosclerosis as it has the potential to prevent and remove calcium from arteriosclerotic plaques thus making plaques easier to dissolve and less dangerous.. A large epidemiological study from the Netherlands illustrates this point well. The researchers collected data on the vitamin K intakes of the subjects between 1990 and 1993 and measured the extent of heart disease in each subject, who had died from it and how this related to vitamin K2 intake and arterial calcification. They found that calcification of the arteries was the best predictor of heart disease. Those in the highest third of vitamin K2 intakes were 52 percent less likely to develop severe calcification of the arteries, 41 percent less likely to develop heart disease, and 57 percent less likely to die from it. (Geleijnse et al., 2004, pp. 3100-3105) However, intake of vitamin K1 had no effect on cardiovascular disease outcomes.

"From all of the research I have done over the years, I have found again and again that, without anti-oxidant protection, fish oils easily oxidise and go rancid. One of the ways you can recognise this is when you have a "fishy" after taste once you’ve taken a fish oil supplement. That’s why I have added the anti-oxidants vitamin a, d, e, k2 & Coq10 - to protect the fish oils and to give you far greater health benefits that these vitamins have to offer. I truly believe that this is the  most advanced fish oil capsule on the market, bar none.

Take 1-2 capsules after each meal. This will help control blood sugar levels, decrease cravings and increase serotonin levels in the brain. This will help you feel like more energetic and give you a sense of well-being. Please read all of the ingredients in this product to see why it is THE most advanced fish oil around."
